WiFi Auto-Connect with UniFi Identity
Overview
Once your device is successfully enrolled and connected to the XR WiFi using UniFi Identity, it should automatically reconnect when you return to campus. However, depending on your device type and settings, you may need to adjust certain configurations to ensure seamless auto-connect.
Do I need to click "Connect" every time?
No, in most cases. After the first successful login using UniFi Identity, your device stores the secure WiFi profile.
The next time you are on campus, your device should automatically re-connect without requiring you to enter credentials again.
If you find yourself repeatedly needing to click Connect, check the troubleshooting steps for your device below.
